Browsing The Online Store

There are a few different ways to find what you're chasing at Hardware Fast. You can browse through the categories on the left of the page, search for an item at the top of the page, or you can browse by manufacturer/brand. When searching for an item, use the name of the product you are looking for or words that could be used to describe it to get the best search results. You can also use the 'Product Finder' (underneath the list of categories on the left) which shows you a list of the categories and sub categories of products that we have on offer to quickly track down an item. 

We have a compare products function that can compare the features and price of up to 3 products at a time. Simply click in the box above the selected product's photo then move to the next selection and repeat. When all selections are made, click on the compare tab and the comparisons will be aligned side by side. 

When browsing through products in the online store, you can add items that you want to purchase to your shopping basket by clicking the 'Buy Now' button for that item. This will add one of that item to your shopping basket. If you would like a larger quantity of a product then, when viewing it individually, change the number in the 'Quantity' box from 1 to your desired quantity. Take note of the current stock level for that product. If the quantity you want to buy is greater than what we have in stock we will still accept the order but it may take us longer to deliver it. We will let you know by email when we expect your order to be delivered.

Your Shopping Basket

A list of the products you have added to your shopping basket and the total value are displayed under 'Shopping Basket' on the right of the page. To view your basket in more detail, remove items or change quantities of items, click 'View Basket'. You will need to log in or register your details with us to see the shipping costs for your shopping basket. When you are happy with your basket and ready to checkout then click 'continue' to be taken to the payment page.

Payment and Delivery

All payments are made through NAB Transact which is a fast and secure payment gateway system managed by the National Australia Bank. All credit card details are collected and used by NAB Transact in a secure environment - we do not collect credit card details. The total price will include the cost of the products, GST and shipping costs. All listed prices are in Australian dollars. Once payment is confirmed we will pick, pack and dispatch your order. Mailing List

New products and updated existing products are entering the market on a regular basis. It is our intention to evaluate the features and benefits of the best of these and offer our comments to you via our semi regular email news letter. If you would like to be informed and keep up to date with the latest, simply fill out your email contact details under 'Join Mailing List' at the bottom left of the page.

Out Of Stock Products

If a product you are after has a red 'Out Of Stock' tag, this means that we are temporarily out of stock of that product. You are still able to order these items, but they may take longer than usual to get to you as we first have to receive the stock before we can dispatch the order. We will notify you of the delay and give you an estimation for when your order will arrive. Similarly, if you order a greater quantity of an item than what we have in stock then we will notify you of the delivery time expected for your order.
